Sometimes you need a little extra goodies in the kitchen.
A Kitchen Makeover is in the making.
Not a "paint the cabinets" and "get a new countertop" kind of makeover - a BEHIND THE SCENES small kitchen makeover that adds to the well being of serving dinner, desserts, and gifts for others!
I knew that I needed another crockpot for BIG family dinners when 20 or more come to the house...$3 and barely used.
Wanted some more white plates. Although they are square, and don't match my round ones, I LOVE the way they look with food on them - an O.K. deal at $1 a piece (10 in all) - from Old Time Pottery.
Found a Russel Wright set of large plate, serving platter and serving bowl - $1 for ALL 3!
Also got these 4 salad/dessert Pfaltzgraff folk art plates in mind to give my Aunt for a gift for $1 - not each...$1 for ALL 4 (shhh, don't tell)
But, I would have to say that my absolute favorite is the Smoothie Maker! A regular blender just doesnt chop the ice up very well. This one has a spout lever...oooooo, I can't wait to use this baby!!! For $7, that isn't so bad.
So for $12, I was able to have a small Yard Sale - Kitchen Makeover.
