Here is a picture of the items I got this evening at Rite-Aid.
I was taking advantage of their BOGO on Covergirl...so here are my deals.
Grab a tissue because you may need to catch some drool:)
4 Wet Slicks Lip Gloss: Regular $5.99 each
2 Concealer Sticks: Regular $6.99 each
1 Outlast All day Lip Color: Regular $10.99
1 Outlast Lip Stain: Regular $8.99
I used 3 of the CG $2.50 off 2 coupons (PG 2/7), 2 of the $1 off coupon (PG 2/7), THEN gave them 3 CG BOGO coupons (PG 2/7) last.
I think that the guy didn't exactly know what he was doing, neither did I to be quite honest! I used 8 coupons for 8 items, but 3 of the coupons were for $ off of 2 items. As I am writing, I just now realized this and will call the store to see what I should do. I am all about ethical couponing:) Since I am just now "dabbling" in the drug store world of coupons, I am bound to make mistakes.
My total WOULD HAVE BEEN $56.43 but after coupons and savings, the GRAND TOTAL came to $3.81! (1.49 subtotal, and $2.32 tax)
I also went to Hollywood Video for the last few days of the STORE CLOSING in Burlington - I got 6 DVD's for $1.99 and 1 Blue Ray for $5
7 DVD's for $18.34 isn't too bad!
Now, these weren't popular movies
The Couple
Affinity
The Maldonado Miracle
Saraband: An Ingmar Bergman Film
Admissions
Dopamine
Santa Clause 3
I may have just blown about $20...we'll see after I watch them in the next few months.
I stopped by Harris Teeter and used all the coupons from the News and Record Harris Teeter Coupon Deal - no problems at all!
Although ON the face of the coupons, it said that they could NOT be used in combination with a manufacturers coupon, I spoke with 2 managers that said it could...go figure!
Have you had any Frugal Adventures lately?
I'd love to hear about it at couponmakeover @ gmail.com (remove spaces)
